FIRST PASTOR AND FOUNDER

OF

CRAIG MEMORIAL COMMUNITY CHURCH

He came to Washington at an early age, secured a job and very shortly after moved his mother and father, also had a deaf brother to live with him. He took care of all three of them until their deaths. He joined the Ebenezer Methodist Church. After moving to the northeast are he joined the Randall Memorial Church where he became a class leader (leading Prayer and Testimonial Services) a Local Minister, then appointed to be a Supply Minister in the St. Mary’s County area. He pastored a circuit of the three churches (Mt. Zion, St. Lukes and Bethesda Methodist Churches) until the shortage of gas and tires forced him to discontinue the long drive of 96 miles each Sunday. After driving around in different areas for quite a while he settled on the property in Chapel Oaks.
